{rollo} The SK 105, better known as "Kurassier", is a Austrian designed tank, developed as a fast light tank performing the role of tank-destroter. Highly mobile, fits a 105 mm gun with an automatic loader, as most russians tanks, allowing a high fire rate.

The first prototype was completed in 1969. The following models were completed in 1971, and until now, more than 600 tanks were delivered for internal and export markets.

The SK 105's hull is almost the same as the Steyr-Daimler-Puch APC's. The turret resembles the french AMX-13 light tank. The automatic loaders hold up to 12 rounds. This tank also fits a night vision equipment, laser range-finder, and full NBQ system.
